Returns

The inverse trigonometric sine, in radians.

Returns the inverse trigonometric sine (arc sine) of a number, in radians. The result is in the range -pi/2 to pi/2. Use DEGREES to convert the result to degrees. This is the inverse of SIN.

Example

DEGREES ( ASIN ( - 0.5))
DEGREES ( ASIN ( - 0,5))

Returns -30.
