The angle in radians. Must not be an odd multiple of pi/2.

Returns

The trigonometric tangent.

Returns the trigonometric tangent of an angle. The tangent is equivalent to SIN (Number) / COS (Number) SIN (Number) / COS (Number). Use RADIANS to convert an angle from degrees to radians before passing it to this function. The inverse of this function is ATAN.

TAN ( RADIANS (45))
TAN ( RADIANS (45))

Returns 1.
