A version of the given text string with all lower-case characters replaced by equivalent upper-case characters.

Converts all lower-case letters in a text string to upper-case letters and returns the converted string.

UPPER ("ABc")

Returns "ABC".

CONTAINS ( UPPER ("TESTING"), UPPER ("ing"))

CONTAINS ( UPPER ("TESTING"); UPPER ("ing"))

Returns whether "TESTING" contains "ing". The comparison is case-insensitive, as both parameters are made upper-case before being passed to CONTAINS.
