The string from which to extract a part.
Length
Number Number (optional)
The number of characters to include. If omitted, 1 is assumed, meaning that only the last character of the text string is returned.
Returns
Text Text
The last characters of the given text string.
Returns the last characters from a text string. See also LEFT to extract characters from the beginning of a text string, and MID to extract characters from any position.
Examples
RIGHT ("abcd")
RIGHT ("abcd")
Returns "d", the last character of "abcd".
RIGHT ("abcd", 2)
RIGHT ("abcd"; 2)
Returns "cd", the last two characters of "abcd".
