X
A value at which to evaluate the function.
IsCumulative
TRUE to return the probability that a value is at most the value of the X parameter (the cumulative distribution function). FALSE to return the height of the distribution's curve at that value (the probability density function), which is useful for plotting the distribution but is not itself a probability.
Returns
A value for the standard normal distribution.
Returns a value for the standard normal distribution, which is the normal distribution with a mean of 0 and a standard deviation of 1. The value of the X parameter is therefore a z-score (see STANDARDIZE). This function returns the same value as NORM.DIST with a mean of 0 and a standard deviation of 1.
Examples
Returns roughly 0.2.
Returns roughly 0.8.
