X
The value at which to evaluate the function.
DegreesOfFreedom
The degrees of freedom parameter for the distribution, which is usually the size of the sample minus 1.
IsCumulative
TRUE to return the probability that a value is at most the value of the X parameter (the cumulative distribution function). FALSE to return the height of the distribution's curve at that value (the probability density function), which is useful for plotting the distribution but is not itself a probability.
Returns
A value for Student's left-tailed t-distribution.
Returns a value for Student's left-tailed t-distribution. Student's t-distribution resembles the normal distribution but has heavier tails. It is used instead of the normal distribution if the standard deviation is estimated from a small sample.
Example
Returns roughly 0.67.
